We experienced such a turn of events as our partner for the past 11 years-Kristin-has decided to take a different road. She has been a steadfast and integral part of our evolvement and will be missed by us and our fantastic clients as well. She has a new granddaughter and will be devoting her full attention to her care. We thank her for everything she has done for you and us over the years.
In the last Blog I mentioned the term ESG-which stands for Environment-Social-Governance, which applies to critical thinking regarding self, best practices. This applies to being environmentally sound, socially sustainable and ethics. This acronym has been gaining ground as a discipline and has touched the investment world as well. Probably the best comparison is to what has been termed ‘socially responsible investing’. That discipline has many of the same characteristics as ESG. The point is people are becoming more and more concerned about the sustainability of the planet, society, etc. and want to put their money to work in companies or funds that reflect this mission.
